Finding a path forward
Intergenerational mediation can be a valuable tool for promoting understanding, resolving conflicts, and preserving family relationships. There may be miscommunication and conflict between parents and their adult children, or between adult siblings or other close family members.
You may be a grandparent who has lost contact with your grandchild, a parent who is struggling to communicate with their adult child, or have a sibling who you find difficult.
It is possible for grandparents to attend court to have their cases heard but they are advised to seek mediation to determine if an agreement of contact can be agreed without this course of action.
